Sales Account Manager

  • Account Manager - managing current accounts including any financial needs, customer interaction, and RFQ packages
  • Initiates and coordinates development of target lists to penetrate new markets
  • Technical documentation – ability to meet with customers and accurately relay customer needs to internal process owners as well as relay accurate information to the customer, able decipher/fill out technical documents as needed
  • Understands which process owners to seek out in order to timely and accurately provide needed material to customer.
  • Ability to meet with existing and potential customers and create a strong and positive working relationship
  • Ability to have strong communication with internal and external customers
  • Managing and tracking of open items, including – tracking sales goals to meet set targets
  • Supports marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
  • Requirements


  • Deep knowledge automotive interiors and sales
  • Knowledge of plastic injection molded parts a plus
  • Willingness to travel
  • Knowledge of launching new products and product development
  • Extensive experience in all aspects of supplier relationship management
  • Strong initiative, time management and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • Strong problem solving, decision-making, and negotiating skills
  • Engineering background preferred
  • 5-7 years of experience in similar role
  • Education

    Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing or related field
