Desktop Support Tech
Direct/permanent position for an IT Technician to serve as a Desktop Support Tech at client site(s) in Washington DC. The Tech will have a primary work site which is Metro accessible, but may need to travel to other sites in the area if needed.
The Tech will respond to trouble tickets of varying complexity from basic Windows/Connectivity issues to more complex issues involving Virtualization software.
The Tech will be working onsite with customers and must provide excellent customer service and follow-through to ensure customer satisfaction.
The hiring process will include a thorough background check.
The position requires proven hands-on experience with Active Directory, the Microsoft platform including the Office suite, iOS/mobile/handheld devices, Google Apps, Backup/Disaster Recovery, Help Desk ticketing systems, etc.
The ideal candidate will also have some real-world experience with VMware, virtualization, Cloud desktops, Azure, GCP, Office 365, Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM), DaaS, Business Management Software such as Connectwise, Kaseya, Tiger Paw, Autotask, and N-able.
A+, Net+ and other IT Certifications are highly desired.
Salary + benefits, based on experience. Salary is expected to be in the 40-60K range.
